Added stamps from 2 'new to me' entities today, North Borneo and Nyassa. The collection grows, Alan smiles. |

More progress on the 1947 checklist:
I 69.4 % J 76.7 % K 44.3 % L 61.6 % M 65.5 %
I'm a bit saddened by the lowering percentages. They should pick up due to higher coverage of the larger countries yet to come. |

I am still working on DDR and still not sure I will mount many of them.
As for any totals, I have printed and scanned over 4000 Steiner pages. I usually do not print unless I have a stamp to mount on the page but I have accidentally printed a few blanks. |

Today I received my up-graded Unitrade catalogue. Now the fun begins, the considerable task of checking everything for varieties. Regards DavidR |

Got some royal mail from UK which arrived faster than mail from the east coast to Oregon. A few barcoded Machins. |

Tried to order some Minkus Supreme Global pages, new. I doubt if that order will come through. I'm expecting an old Global vol. in the mail tomorrow from ebay. Slowly adding my duplicates to the first vol. of the Supreme I obtain. I'd rather get a full set to 1955 on new paper but.... Added a few North Borneo to my Scott's International. Not much else. |

Spent a good part of the day trying to figure out which blank quadrilled, 3-ring pages would be best for four topical collections but quit after being frustrated by having to look at descriptions that did not match my search criteria. Photos and descriptrions were at best unhelpful. Either they did not mention/describe paper weight, show or detail ring hole numbers, most failed to note base color of pagem while photo was B/W, few distinguised between usable spce as opposed to full size, and many made mentin of which album they fit assuming I already had an album as opposed to just a good binder. Had I known that choosing a binder, pages, and mounts was going to be so complicated a process I would have collected golf balls or shot glasses. |

Just finished scanning in the non-US pages from the 1947 Scott International Part 1. That is 1172 images (586 double sided pages). I'll have to hunt for my copy of the U.S. pages, but I think I am going to be missing the Confederate States page. I plan to double check the scanned images to make sure I didn't miss any. And I'm also going to scan in the front matter pages and the back matter pages so that every sheet is scanned. Now that this is done, I'll be able to go much faster through the spreadsheet to have it match the album. I had been previously scanning, fixing the numbers, and counting all at the same time. |

Used AI to build a script that I can enter in a list of Scott numbers and it goes to the Siegel site and pulls in all the values for each grade/condition I want and writes to a spreadsheet. Easier to lookup in one spreadsheet than having to query stamps on an individual basis. |

Was sick for a week and had to do my taxes, both keeping me away from the spreadsheet. I have, however, been removing stamps from an older album and identifying them. Some are likely new adds to my collection, just haven't gone through all that yet. Just a few more countries to go then I will be seeing what the adds are before returning to the spreadsheet. |

Stamp Club Meeting today. Video presentation on fakes and how to identify them. Some free stamps from club members and some sales and trades, some from club inventory. Announced our 8th annual Stamp show in Sept. and venue secured. Will post that in the appropriate forum when the graphics are done. It will also appear in the APS info. |

Received a nice copy of an off-cover, cancelled convention label for the 12th Annual Convention of the Precancel Stamp Society (PSS) from August 1934. |
