Almost done sorting a pound and a half of off paper Machins. Mostly all decimal, but quite a few pre-decimal, and regionals. None of the harder to find stuff from prestige or odd booklets. |

I've decided to sell some of my best stamps and covers at auction. I'm not in the mood to buy anymore so I will sell maybe 50 items to see what the return is... |

Today I purchased this Scotts US 505. Been wanting this for sometime, came across it on NYStamps ebay auctions. |

After a break, I got back to updating my 1947 Part I spreadsheet to match scanned pages sequence. Finished N yesterday, O this morning, and now I'm halfway through Persia. There's a lot of stamps between P and T, so it will take a while. I had already completed A-M and U -Z. |

I was going through dad's estate supplies. He had many new mint sheet albums, cover sleeves, dealer sale cards (not shown), poly bags (no idea what these were for), and 3 banker boxes of mounts (mostly large size). |

Took possession of USPS delivered Fulfilment order & double-checked contents against order. Found that the Day @ the Beach booklet (#685904) was missing & instead a Winter Landscapes booklet sent (#685704). I received the FDC & DCP Day @ Beach items so I'm guessing the order filler mistook the '9' for a '7'. This has happened to me possibly 2x-3x in all the years (since mid 80's) that there has been an error in my order. So, I packaged the item, made out the exchange form, used the provided return label & await the correct item. Not a bad record. Now I am preparing the other items for cataloging & album placement. |

A couple of days ago. I ordered stamps from the USPS, and hope to receive them by next week. |

Today I went to the bank. Since the close of the NYC, NY 2016 show I have been putting $$ away for the Boston 2026 show. (I would dip into it occasionally for LARGE Fulfillment orders but for the most part left it alone.) It was a small set-aside each month. (2-digts $xx). Today, I withdrew 95% for the show, split it into 2-piles. (A kid in a candy store, or Dad in the hardware store syndrome So I need to be focused & tight, it's an 8-day show). Double checking my agenda of events, bourse vendors, where the family time is scheduled, (not much), double check weather forecast (10 day almost gets me there) & on the look-out for public transportation issues, especially Saturday 5/23. I think I'm ready, bring it on. |

eligies do you tend to purchase from dealers only? Do you find material on ebay? Do you trade or purchase from other collectors in stamp club or Stamp Community Family? |

It didn't happen today, but I recently worked on a bunch of topical orders that arrived, and added them to my stockbook. Nice material. One of the dealers I bought from was Postbeeld. I'm in the US, but they arrive fast. Slow fulfillment speed, but great stamps! |

Postbeeld has stock in a few countries they may first need to ship to the despatch centre. On top of that, since mid April, we had quite a number of holidays in this part of the world, where they are. |
