Finished making page inserts for the first volume of my Australia collection (goes from 1902 to 1936). Yay done with Sidefaces!

Total page count - 35 double sided 6 row Vario pages, or 70 page faces total.

On to volume II - George VI and pre-Decimal Elizabeth II

Interesting to see what you've all been up to.

I've been unstampy lately, too busy with job, family etc. However I received another shipment of 60 Vario Grande Classic albums
To give room I had to do some housekeeping and found this set in a bulk lot that have been waiting for some time.

I have never seen them before, and expect them to be privately produced and of "speculative nature". Nevertheless, would be interesting if anyone know anything about them.??

@Dbakken - thanks :)

@Blaamand - those are British postal strike stamps. Very much collectable IMHO...

Of course used is even better

Here's a 1971 strikemail letter I've shown on my blog way back in 2010 (how time flies when you're having fun with stamps):

Blaamand. The stamps were produced by the Peoples league in 1962 to run a "strike post" to provide an alternative postal service during a Go slow by postal workers. A go slow was where workers turned up for work but stuck slavishly to the rules so the organization would be brought to a standstill.
Sorry about the previous post if it's still around I hit a wrong key.

Today I helped my 3-1/2 year old grandson put some stamps in his album. Always a fun activity.

Peter -reposted it saw an error after posted it the first time

Note that these pages I make are used as inserts between Vario Stocksheet pages, and are meant as a reference guide to what stamps are where on the Vario page, they are not in strict sense Album Pages, though easily could be converted into such (using Album Easy to make these pages)
