After receiving a pack of Prinz mounts in a range of largish sizes I finally mounted a selection of US souvenir sheets in my album. I've had these for years and it surprised me how much pleasure it produced to finally get them on a page. I know that the mounts are probably worth as much as the sheetlets, but who cares? I just like the way they look mounted on the pages. |

I sorted through an APS circuit of stamps from the Baltics. Found some air mails to add to my collection. I find it a great way to buy stamps. |

I helped to celebrate our Philatelic Society's 60th anniversary. We had a stamp fair on Saturday which was well attended. Now we start planning for 75! |

Finally had the time to sit down with my stamps again. I've been mounting some random stamps this morning, and I'm currently debating what I should do next. |

Put a relatively large order to the Washington Stamp Exchange for some ArtCraft FDCs, assembling my recent order received from the 'Salt Mine' to catalog & place in my 2018 album, reviewing the list of ArtCraft FDCs for a 'BOB' purchase from the Washington Stamp Exchange before 11/30. |

Been plodding through a large collection of French material that arrived a couple of weeks ago. The easy part was integrating the post-1960 stuff into my collection. Also got some of my duplicates onto ebay. Now trying to get the earlier material (which was housed in stock-books, not always well, sadly) into shape. |

Been working through a lot of British stamps today. Quite satisfying as my Great Britain is anything but complete. :-) |

Hi All About 10 days ago, I was fortunate enough to receive a stamp collection free from a lady who was kind enough to give them away. She told me that she did not have the time to sort the stamps. The collection consisted of one box of used to soak, but, all the rest of the stamps were MNH. W/O exaggerating, I think that only 3 or 4 stamps were lightly hinged.
The other part of the collection consisted MNH stamps all housed in 15 stockbooks!! They are all a welcome addition to my collection.

Today I decided I was going to settle once and for all the different paper types of the King Edward VII GB definitive issues - it's something I've wrestled with on and off for the past few years and I think I've finally grasped it! |

I never have mastered the paper types. I think I need a sampler with actual samples for reference.
I collect more or less according to Scott and paper types are not nearly as important in the SG world. |

Corresponded by email with a couple of SCF members about identifying genuine W/F coils. Their help is sincerely appreciated. |
