In the T&T Styles Section, style 43 is shown has having the state name abbreviated (rather than spelled out). Is that true for all states? Specifically, is it true for Iowa?
And what is the general rule across all styles? If a style shows the state abbreviation, is that true for all states/cities with that style. Or in some instances can the state name be in the style instead? And what about the opposite case, if the state name is in a style, can there be instances where some states use the abbreviation?
Reading the notes at the bottom of the T/T style description page should help. If that doesn't clear up the issue post a picture on the stamp(s) in question, someone will have the answer for you. There could be exceptions to descriptions.
