Quick question...what is the proper Michel catalogue for German postal cards and aerogrammes? I have a few that I want to try to properly ID and was curious about what the best reference material would be. Thanks!

You would be looking for the Ganzsachen-Katalog Deutschland. It has all of the postal stationery (Germany, states, colonies, occupations, et al) ... everything except the private postal stationery. It does give a very brief overview of some areas of the private postal stationery, but there is a separate catalog for this material.

knuppster59,

If you don't have enough to justify buying a catalog, just post them here and I can look them up for you.

GS, thank you. You are always very helpful in the realm of German collecting. I did find an older Ganzsachen-Katalog on ebay that may do the trick. If I get time I will scan in the items I have as well.
