Aprl - Used For The First Time

Just wanted to give a shout out to the APRL and their staff. I utilized its services for the first time yesterday when I requested scans of an article in an old journal. Someone responded to my original e-mail in 30 minutes and I had the requested documents within 2 hours. The staff member found my requested article and made me aware of a second part of the article in a later published journal. She asked if I wanted the additional scans, which of course I did! The whole process was pretty awesome.

I have used them also - to get a photocopy of a illusive monograph on Swiss franchise stamps. They are aces.

I have used them just this past month for some info on older PNC catalogs. They were absolutely fantastic.

IMO, the APRL is one of the best reasons to belong to the APS. In addition to their research and scanning services, they also lend books, of course. A wonderful resource.

They are the best. A long time ago, when I lived behind the Old APS on Vairo Blvd, in state collegs, PA--Ms. Horn helped me a bunch! Super good at what they do--

Sounds like I want to start using this library services . Can I set up account of lets say $100.00 and they could just debt my established account for each month's order $20.00 or $25.00 and every few months just send of another $100.00 ,That way I am not getting billed each month .
Or do they accept a credit card like Visa and just debit it each month ,either way could work for me .Anybody got a working account .

floor, in my experience, I was sent an invoice based for the services rendered. I believe I mailed the APRL a check for the balance.
