Apparently they did not think a color match was important.

I wrote the seller and explained that they had a Scott #948 printed in 1947, not a Scott #2 printed in 1847. and I gave them the link:

so they could see that I was not just trying to get a better price. They thanked me for the info, and the listing is unchanged.

I tried to use 'report item' function to ebay. Ye Gods- what a useless app that is. Only three categories of issues to choose from none of which apply here.

This guy has already been told and apparently wants to gouge someone. Another ignorant seller who knows nothing of stamps and is selling some ratty collection he found at a yard sale. I thought of messaging him but what's the use?

Good news is he finally dropped the #2 citation. I'll leave it to someone else to point out his Scott #64 is really a Scott #65, and his Scott #315 is really a Scott #304 with two margins chopped off to resemble a Scott #317.
