thanks for those nice words,
at my stage it is about justification.
(I see often, members here with larger collections (Floortrader etc) so I don't feel so bad with my lot ) Hehe.

I have a recollection your lot wouldn't be that small either.

When it is all said and done, it has been a lot of fun, met some amazing people in the hobby.
When I greet the pine box, someone else is going to have to deal with all this .

Identifying the Montreal Duplex (13 Bar killer)
Not a very handsome fellow, but certainly serves the purpose of preventing re-use of the stamp.

Theme: Canadian Papermaker's Watermarks.

LEES-JONES, Richard William Thomas 1891-1978. Expert on Canadian stamps. Plated early issues, particularly the 12½c of 1859. Gave to RPSL in 1936 a collection of Canada
1897-1936 in mint blocks of four with plate numbers. Tilleard Medal, 1951, for display of Papermakers' Watermarks. His collection of these auctioned by HR Harmer Ltd in 1952. Part of his classic Canada was shown, hors concours, at the London International Exhibition 1960. Fellow and President Canadian P.S. RDP 1950.
