Wonderful Collection Rod. I may be able to help you fill some holes. Do you have a list of what you are missing? I have been away too long, time to get back at it.

Thanks for those kind words, Dianne.
I can get a list up, and post back.
Not missing a great deal until the later years.

...Yes, get back into it, you naughty thing.

Dianne,
any experience with Postal History?
I'd like this cover for my collection, but $10 is out of my budget.
Any idea of value?

Victoria B.C. Lovely Slogan cancellation.
Cheers.

This is a nice cover but in my opinion 10.00 is a little steep. I can often get nice covers like this for a couple of bucks at our auctions I will keep an I out for you.
It is nice to be back. after spending the better part of 2 years in a hospital room I am having major philatelic withdrawls especially keeping in touch with all my great freinds here.

Rodney, regarding those airmail labels you posted at the top of this page last August, you had actually posted them on The Stamp Forum back in 2015 (how soon they forget). Cindycan2 responded,

"Air mail labels: indeed they are Canadian, issued by the Post Office Department in 1939, in both English and French versions. Interestingly, they were supposed to be affixed to the letter (not the envelope) to remind the reader to reply by air mail. I've added a chapter for air mail etiquettes to the 2nd edition."

And I had posted these English language versions...

"Senior moment"

My usual regime, is to print the response, print it out, and place the cinderellas
in the sheet protector with the page. (Forever ID'd)

I was probably distracted, looking for the other odd pair of socks, to those I was wearing.

Thanks James, I dips me lid.
