Hi Rod,
The legacy of France's, Britain's, and Canada's dealings with the "First Nations" (as we call them here) from the 15th to 20th Centuries, is complicated and something that is still being dealt with. We are voting on Monday in our Federal Election, and these issues are always front and centre. Sadly, we still have many failings.
I imagine that Australia is similar in this regard though. |

Hi Brad, Quote: I imagine that Australia is similar in this regard though.
Absolutely, and I recently saw the Maori of New Zealand protesting on the arrival of the Endeavour replica (Captain Cook). It is challenging sometimes to empathise and "Walk in their shoes" Meanwhile our top climate polluter (Alan Joyce of Qantas) gets $24 million dollars a year ($65,000 a day) ...and we regard ourselves as "civilised" |

Quote: Rodd, that should be 50 pairs (not 100) according to Unitrade cat. Thanks Gilles, I read the "100" as pairs (Believing they had to be in a pair to be ID'd) So that is 100 "units" Interesting. |

It is nice to see that these imperforate stamps are both collected and catalogued in pairs. Unfortunately many other imperforate stamps have been mutilated just to make for one single jumbo margin imperforate stamp. |

Again, a HUGE thank you, to you wonderful Canadians, helping in our bushfire infernos. Firefighting and incident management specialists from Canada are being briefed in Sydney this morning, the RFS confirmed. They will be deployed throughout NSW tomorrow to add their expertise to the battle to control bushfires burning across the state. 680 homes lost, and counting. https://www.abc.net.au/news/2019-12...rns/11772568 |

Could be flat 15 at number 5. Given (a) Germans and (b) post-war architectural vandalism, the building may no longer be there. |

I think your picture may actually be from "London, Ontario", rather than "London, The World", especially given the building design. Could therefore just be the date - 15 May - with the recipient expected to know the precise address. |
