The stamps use the Bulgarian coin Leva, and on one the capital Sofia is mentioned. Can somebody help me

Welcome to the Forum, Ervin. I'm not super familiar with Bulgaria. I'd guess these are some form of revenue or charity stamps. Hopefully some others will weigh in.

Have you been to Bulgaria? I was there briefly in 2014 to do the high point of the country. Really a nice place to visit and friendly people.

Hi ErwinP,

Yes, these are both revenue stamps associated with court employee pensions.

The Barefoot catalogue dates both to around 1930 and describes them as follows:

1. Pension for Court House Employees

2. Pension for Judicial Employees - Criminal Courts Fund
