My one and only named imprint block - I sold a few a while ago.

Nicely centred 1935 2d Silver Jubilee with imprint.

Yes, not bad at all. Shame about the crease across the two top stamps.

I don't know how the previous owner had this item mounted. The only evidence of a hinge is on the selvedge jus below the imprint.

Figured out why the block above didn't turn out well as far as true color, hoping this is better.

Someone here will be able to decipher the note. Gibbons' Commonwealth says that variations in image sizes are the result of differences between dry and wet printings, with the 1935 printing being the dry printing. Robson Lowe's Encyclopedia is specific about this particular size being one of the two booklet settings.

So, what do I have? And, is that a name at the end? Or an abbreviation for millimeters? Or something else entirely?

CJD. The ACSC lists this as #134 or #135. Both are listed as available in an Ash imprint block of 4.

#134 is Type A, 31 x 22 mm - mesh of paper vertical.
#135 is Type B, 31.75 x 21.5 mm- mesh of paper horizontal.

The written note seems to imply Type B, which is a little more rare than Type A. Individual prices in my 2014 book are AUS $15 for mounted Mint. If you had the entire block of 4, it would be AUS $175.

The booklet stamps are something I am still looking for (without success). Per ACSC, they are identified by a dot in the center of the top and bottom margin of each stamp, but this is sometimes removed by the perforations. The booklet stamp would not have an Ash Imprint.

Thank you very much Partime. Great info. Robson Lowe says that the booklet dot is above the "R" (unless, as you say, the perfs take it out). Having never noticed that note before, I never knew to look for it. (If I remember) I'll be looking from now on.
