Latest multiple first day cover. I actually bought this one in 1974 and decided to do the dual. Might have increased the value from 10c to 25c.

Well that's neat. I'm not too familiar with modern FDCs other than the usual stuff. I didn't realize that one could have multiple first day cancellations on a single cover.

I guess you couldn't count it as forwarded 42-years later coincidentally on the first day of the subsequent stamp.

I'm not sure how easy it would have been, but getting some cancels on such a cover from towns with cool names would be fun - for example there is Goblintown, Virginia; Pumpkin, Georgia or Pumpkin, Texas; Pumpkintown, Tennesee; Screamersville, Virginia; Spook City, Colorado; Red Devil, Alaska; Hell Hollow, New Hampshire; Deadman's Corner, Maine; and there are others.
