Vatican City Question On Postal Rate.

Hello everyone. I have this postcard from 1950. On it is the 35 lire stamp from the 1949 series perforation 14:13 1/4. Pretty happy to have it. My question is: is the postal rate of 35 lire correct? The card went from the Vatican City to Germany. Thanks for your help. Kind regards, Johan.
