Bought this one on ebay
and advertised as CANADA #15 mint cat val $250...e-mailed the seller : no gum.
Appreciate your thoughts. Unitrade has a chapter about this series and gum and very close margins......
Thanks

I like the stamp. Apart from the centering there is nothing wrong. It has a beautiful vivid color - if I were to collect Canada I'd be proud of it.

It is not a bad stamp. It is better than either of the two listed above. A very tough stamp to get good centering on. The perfs do not cut into the design. I would be happy with it but I prefer gummed stamps.

I have collected this issue for many years. I can tell you that I don't believe either of the ebay lots above that state Original Gum. It is very difficult to find OG on any stamp in this issue. And the Unitrade Specialized catalog states that OG stamps have a 150% premium over the catalog price. Which means you can multiply the price by 2.5 to get the actual catalog if OG.

I agree that it is very hard to get well-centered and well perforated stamps in this issue. If you have a well-centered stamp from this issue, that in itself receives a premium and is reflected in the VF prices listed in the Unitrade Specialized catalog.

Yours is the best of the ones shown in the links above.

Sak, that has near perfect centering. Very nice.

RW, Love that #16 and #17b?, which looks mint.

My #17 and #17a are not too bad centered.
