Nice Suprise From Ebay!

Hi guys,

I just bought this Large Queen #24 Lot for a small amount and look carfully the Third stamp from left;




A nice 24V Major re-entry


THe stamp may have passed ''incognito'' as the cancel hit the must important doubling in ''D'' of canada, BUT, the doubling in Lower left 2, in ''AN'' of Canada and ''POS'' of Postage as well as the slight doubling in TWO do not lie!



Good thing that not everyone Flyspeck as I do :) This is a difficult one to find.

No doubt it is the major re-entry :)

Have you checked the paper to make sure they are not laid paper?....

Yes I did Gilles, The 24v is sadly the commun paper 4 Wove :( A #32 with major re-entry would have been a lifetime discovery heh.

For all others, there is one on Thin paper #1, all the rest on differente Wove paper.

Hi Jimi,

I am not sure of your 1859 1c pos 93 Extended frameline. Position 93 has the Imprint in the bottom margin. In the earlier printings where there was no Imprint the Extended frameline doesn't seem to appear in Proof scans that I have. Still could be an early printing with the extended frameline.

Nice stamp otherwise, in VF condition, large margins and nice 4R47 postmark.

Nice stamp then Jimi. Hard to see the imprint trace in the scan. But I can see it now that you pointed it out in the perf tips.

Another nice find on ebay (i love this place)

Stamp showed as 44a Gray blue Var. With a bad scan image of around 640pixel per 400 pixel, blured etc.. Mint Og light hinge



But something told me to flyspeck it...

I took the scan and put it in my programe, Double the size, put some filter to have a sharper image and drop down the brightness and...Boom!

44ii... well 44a/ii double Var Major re-entry on Gray Blue
