Does anyone have a source for purchasing backing paper used on modern self-adhesive stamps?

Try the post office. Sometimes they save the rolls. If not, you could ask them to do so.

Welcome to Stamp Community Forum, jimihdx. Pharmacy prescription printouts use a great deal of self-adhesive labels and their backing. You could also ask at a UPS, or Fed Ex office for the backing remainders.

Thanks for the tips. I'll try the post office for my coils. The Pharmacy printouts sound like a great idea for larger stamps.
