I scan my favourite stamps at 2400 dpi and make a 8 X 10 photo print...then frame and hang on the wall of my den.
Here's my framed print of the classic Canada Bluenose stamp. The added bonus is you can see more detail in the stamp...and no stamp is harmed by being exposed to the elements.

I had taken pics of stamps and posted enlargements on the wall. If I was worried about security, one would have to hide the albums. A bookshelf full of albums is saying a lot.

Another way I display my stamps is with a digital picture frame...load your images onto a SD card or USB memory stick..and you get a slideshow of your favourite stamps...hang on a wall or in my case..sits on my desk.

I use a folder of stamp images for the screen saver on my desktop computer, which is on most of the time. That's my only display.

My mousepad has pictures of the US Columbian Expo set and my clock face is covered with pictures of US classics, everything from Zeppelins to Trans-Mississippi to early ducks. I have another mousepad that has a battleship revenue picture on it.

A bedroom is gone to stamps in plastic tubs to shoulder height with a small walkway that can be changed by wheeling the stacks of plastic tubs around. Granted some tubs have horticulture stuff in them like seeds, spore, tools and needed materials for propagation needs etc.

The dinning room has two work benches that are 3m long each and they have plastic tubs stacked under them as well.

The dinning room table is lost to stock books, computers, scanners, digital magnifier, tax records, tally books and incoming stamp parcels etc.

The lounge room has the kiloware sorting set up in place and is constantly in use. It is nice to have the TV going when sorting stamps.

And yes I am still married. But it all has to be sold over the next 3 to 4 years.

This large stamp collection is on show when anyone comes into our home much to the end of my wife's patients. Its not like she is angry but she has had totally enough of it. Now after 15 + years of collecting stamps as a lifestyle it has come to its targeted completion point. It is now to be sold to recondition our home and this fact has my wife helping to the max to clear all this stamp material as to be sold. We already have the funds for the kitchen and flooring for half the house. This situation has greatly encouraged my wife.

All the years of saying to my wife that this stamp collection is going to sell for this amount is now being exposed to real truth of it worth. Now to sell to sellers more than collecters.

Flooring? Did you say 'flooring'?

Using stamps, I'd go for patterns of colors, myself. Something more along the lines of:

KGVcollector - Hahaha, that's awesome - your wife must be extremely patient! Good luck with selling it all off.
