Anyone using this auction site to purchase stamps having any issues? I first started buying on there last Summer and until recently have been happy. It seems a good venue to piking up odd singles and cheap sets many
ebay sellers do not want to bother with.
Last night I sat down to catch up on mounting several purchases made over the past month. I found to my dismay that I had been sold short sets in three cases, one set of 10 had seven of the values. I bought an odd value to fill in a set and got the wrong stamp. Last month I got a horribly damaged mailing from another vendor, he asked that I mail it back which I did, nothing ever heard since, $10 down the drain.
From my perspective, sellers on Stampstogo just do not perform on the same level as those on
ebay, sellers on STG sometimes seem sloppy. There are other issues. You cannot do a concurrent search for sets and singles. I do not see any mechanism to simply contact a seller to ask a question, you have to lodge a complaint to do that.
I'm not tossing it in yet but am getting close. JMO.
