Gentlemen,
I confess to being much confused by the varieties even after studying the illustrations in Gibbons. The first scan reads downwards which from the illustrations suggests it is inverted, and as that is unlikely, I assume I just do not know how to read. Could anybody please help. The fourth image is obscure but the stamp is mint and I dare not soak it
The fifth is a 20 cent

Michael

The Federated Malay States tigers. There were just the three issues,CA, multiple CA, and script. These first four are the 50 cent tigers and the fiftha 20-cent tiger. Beautiful stamps but for me with confusing colours and watermarks

These are the four fifty-cent tigers, left to right as 1-5 and the 20-cent one; I think they are all multiple CA
