Do you know if the design length is horizontally narrower or vertically shorter on Nicaragua Scott # 349-360 from 1914 than on Scott # 408-415 from 1922, # 483-495 from 1928, #513-523 from 1929-1931 and # 652-664 from 1937?

According to Scott, the original 1914 issues were 26mm x 22.5mm, and the 5c, 10c, 25c and 50c were issued in 1924 at 27mm x 22.75mm.

Yvert shows all the frames, and has a detailed list of reissues following the entry for 1914, but does not mention the size difference. Or else I missed it.

eta: There is also a note in Scott after the 1922 issue saying that 408-415 were issued slightly larger in 1924.

Cjd: Thanks for letting me know about this since my old Scott catalogue doesn't have this information in it. Has anyone read or seen this article?
