I'm trying to decide which American stamp I should use for the stamp of every country album. I have many favorite American stamps but what one is the best to choose to represent America?  |

There are so many to choose from! How about Scott 804, the 1-cent G. Washington from the Prexie Series? It has a classic look, and it's cheap! Or maybe Scott 948, the 1947 CIPEX souvenir sheet? |

You can never go wrong with a Number 1 for any country however two that at least deserve consideration for US. (contain flags, represent moments in time)

C76, the 1969 moon landing airmail. Or, if you prefer to avoid airmail stamps, try 2841a, the 1994 stamp that celebrated the 25th anniversary of the '69 moon landing. |

From an allien point of view, I was immediately thinking exactly as paulyann, this Liberty stamp represents US in a modest yet elegant fashion. |

If I was going to take a liberty stamp it would be either 566 or 696. Same design but 696 is cheaper. |

The 1922 series, Sc 565 14C American Indian or Sc 569 the 30C Buffalo would be iconic. |

Maybe the stamps you find the most beautiful, representative, and affordable. For example, the three stamp American Revolution setenant from 1976. |
