Is "groszy" an overpring on this stamp? Cancelation? 100 groszy are 1 zloti, but I failed to see the use of it on top of the stamp.
Any idea?

I have a several of these. I always thought of them as revenue overprint. Let's see if someone can clarify this.

I guess I didn't pay attention to this note in my Scott catalog. Or I did and forgot about it. Or forgot that I forgot about it. It is fun getting older.
