Scott 217xx Precancel - Font Change

Hi guys...Putting this out here first before I send it to BNAPS fr more information...Take a look at these 2 scott 217xx precancels...Can not find another with serifed font. Regular font for the precancel is on the right, and the serifed font is on the left stamp..Let me know if anyone has the serifed font type..Thanks

The two stamps appear to be different papers as well.

Robert, did you scan these at the same time? The precancel bars are not the same either - they are further apart on the left stamp.

There is also a different distance between bars ..Left stamp 11.1 cm and the right stamp is 10.6 cm.

That is what I meant Robert. They are obviously different stamps. Have you checked to see if the original stamps may be a different printing?

Robert,

Referring to my Unitrade Standard Canada Precancel Catalogue, it appears that your left stamp is Toronto Style 15 and your right stamp is Toronto Style 14. Both of these styles and a Style 13 exist on this particular stamp with very little difference in value (between 20c and 25c each).
