I collected these stamps way back in the 80s when I was a kid. I came across them last night when cleaning out some old drawers at my parent's house. I know there are several variations aka grills of these stamps but I am not sure how to go about identifying which variation they are. I realize the stamps are in bad shape, but thought they would be good to give to my boys. It would be nice to know a little more about them though if possible! Thanks

Ooh, Ouch! All 3 are rather common and all are damaged. The 3 cent pinkish stamp is from the 1861 series, and were grilled at times. The 2 1 cent stamps are large banknotes, unsure exactly which one as there is not a lot of detail in the photo, but they are also damaged. These also can have grills.

You can find your stamps using the visual finder on this very helpful website.

Thanks for the reply. Yeh, they are in pretty rough shape. Still pretty cool to have a stamp over 150 years old! Appreciate the link!
