In my view, they're just local/county revenues. I won't put them on my cinderellas albums. But, Mike, knowns a lot more than me!

You are too kind Cursus, but I am sure that isn't true ! If I had as much knowledge about my chosen field as you do about yours, I would be very happy. But that isn't going to happen any time soon.
Barcelona and Catalonia Cinderellas will be No.1 here for a long time to come, and that is largely down to you and your expertise.
Which brings me to the leading question.....do you collect Revenues from your area ? I do occasionally collect Revenues but have separate albums for them like I do for all types of Cinderellas.

Revenues will always fall under the Cinderella Umbrella. At the recent World Cinderella Stamp Congress, one session was taken up with invited Revenue displays and a talk by the Revenue Society of Great Britain.

Happy Collecting........

Thank you very much, Mike, for your words. But's not true. I have at least two friends that know more about Catalan cinderellas than myself. The problem is that, being somewhat older than me, their English comand do not let them explain properly on an English speaking forum. But at least one of them visits regularly this forum, and has a wonderful collection being also a very nice person.

As for your question. Yes I do collect revenues from Catalonia (dating from 1890's)and I post regularly on the BOB section of SCF. But I keep them in a separate album and I don't considere cinderellas, just "revenue stamps".

I just think they are cool little stamps. I mean I enjoy collecting them, especially the tobbacco and cigerette stamps. as they change every few years and they are Tiny and fall apart easy. But none the less I do enjoy collecting them. I just wish their was a book or catalog page so I could match them up (LOL) I have yet to find one and have heard about this one catalog call (Springer's Handbook of North American Cinderella Stamps ) but I guess its out of print. For my Trade/thrift Stamp collection I did find a copy (Printed Copy) of (Art Monagrams book) but it was way overpriced but it was a must have!!

The 11th edition of the Springer catalog is currently being developed. Hopefully later this year it will be published. I will be offering a course at APS Summer Seminar, June 25 - 30. Draft version of the catalog will be distributed to seminar attendees. More information at http://stamps.org.

All,

You can find US State and Local revenues on my online catalog at www.staterevs.com!

Please let me know if you have anything currently unlisted and you will receive credit if you wish. I do have several contributors who prefer to remain anon in some states and attributed in others.

Matters not to me as long as the catalog keeps improving!
