Stamps You might add the ebay icon to the line next to "Posted", which would bring all of your stamp-related sales up. Geoff |

Renden, link is working just fine for me. It is a listing of items I have for sale. Where is it taking you? Not following..
Geoff, OK how do I get that icon to appear? What do I click on? |

I think it entails entering your ebay details in the "Sales Information" element of your Profile, but someone less techno-stupid than I may know better! |

Would it be because I am somehow linked to Australia ebay, I wonder? I know when I search say for Argentina stamps, I have a link prepared from " ebay Argentina stamps" That gives me say 12,000 results If I use my Aussie link I get say 3000 results. (Obviously I am "search challenged") |

Also Clicked link & 0 results. Did you add international visible to your auctions if not the rest of the world won't see your items unless they log into ebay USA and search your id. |

OK, I limited sales to US buyers only so that is why someone in Canada or Australia cannot view the list. Apologies, that never occurred to me. As a rule I do not try to ship bulky lots outside the USA. I did consider allowing sales outside the USA on the pre 1940 Mexico lot as that is to be shipped on small stock cards. If anyone is interested in that one and lives elsewhere let me know and I can try to adjust the listing.
Thanks for the followup re the logo, I will try to get that added tomorrow. |

If I only sold to one country I'd hardly sell any at all, there are far many more buyers in Europe & UK, Canada, Oz and elsewhere. Unless your confident you have enough local buyers it would have been better to offer to select countries and applied appropriate shipping costs. The international visible to listings is well worth it. I had someone international come in last week and take 20 buy it nows you never know who in the world is looking at your lots that's why personally I would not limit to just selling direct in USA. Big buyers in Asia to if your prepared to send registered outside USA. |

duncanvr, I understand the point you are making. I have in the past sold a lot of items outside the USA. I stopped doing that a couple of years ago after having Paypal claims for supposed non receipt filed by three bidders in one month. I lost over $150. I am not a dealer, a part time seller- and cannot be doing a lot of selling outside the country. If I lived in Australia i'd probably feel compelled to offer it because the number of potential bidders in your country is far lower than in mine. Many sellers here do not accept bids on weighty items requiring export; as I mentioned I am prepared to revise the one stamp lot to include overseas shipping if anyone wants to bid on it.
In retrospect I probably shouldn't have posted this to begin with. I never intended to open a can of worms. Sorry. |

Many of us have contacts all over the world that will take local delivery on our behalf and then on-ship |

Maybe someone on here would know; if I am set up for my ebay listings to be displayed am I correct this would mean that non philatelic ones will also appear? I plan to offer some electronic equipment next week. I certainly don't intend or expect this board to host a listing for something like that. Do I have ability to delete some ebay listings from those showing on here? Otherwise perhaps I need to disconnect this whole thing. |
