I do not know much about Korea stamps and do not have a catalogue with me. Short vacation. Some, not all, are c.t.o's (cancelled to order) stamps. Does anyone know if there is a market for modern North and South Korea c.t.o.'s. The OP would like ideas on where and how to sell.

Opinion:
There is a market for all stamps, it merely depends on the pricing.
I have seen strong bidding on North Korea.

I would bid on the North Korea, however a Chinese vendor has prevented me from bidding on ebay for a month.

I believe North Korea is still on the embargo (banned) list on ebay. Confirmation as always is welcomed.

With a few exceptions from one seller in China there are no North Korea stamps listed on ebay.

Perhaps Hipstamp may be an option?

I have checked with many online websites and some send me a response, others do not. But the ones I can find that have pictures and their value of the stamps they differ in their assessment of the stamps. Each website has a different pricce for them

They also do not show all the stamps I have so it is hard to get a value for them

As far as I know ebay does not allow the sale of north Korean stamps.

I have read about the embargo and have not seen any on that website

North Korea is a prolific issuer of stamps. Promote their culture and for revenue.

here's the Intro page from the Official North Korean Stamp Catalogue (1946-1998)

Note that the set of "Anti-US Imperialist Struggle" stamps are priced in US-Imperialist dollars.

Give me a head with hair, long beautiful hair
Shining, gleaming, streaming, flaxen, waxen
Give me down to there, (where?) , shoulder length or longer
Here baby, there, momma, everywhere, daddy, daddy

Hair, flow it, show it
Long as God can grow, my hair

British Monarchs.

Also StampORama approvals and auctions have DPR for sale. Or you can sell your DPR there yourself if you have an account. DPR stamps seem to move pretty well both as approvals and at auction. I collect ROK, but not DPR.

And one more, a personal favorite, stamps2go.com. There are currently about 1200 North Korea listings.
