Hi,

Recently acquired three unique German's stamps with 5 pfg overprint.

Can someone share the unique stories of these stamps?

Thanks!

Nelson

Hello, There were stamps issued with a 5 pfg (hand)overprint However without a blue line. Yours are most probably not genuine. Often Stamps used in Germany were used to make these kind of stamps. The third stamp you show us, looks like a Berlin cancel. Also the 5 pfg overprint was first issued in 1900 and not 1899 as the cancel indicates. Kind regards, Johan.
