I recently received a nice example of one of the butterfly stamps paying the non-machinable surcharge rate from Franklin, NH. I am going to keep it since it's a little more difficult to find the stamp used correctly. But when I took another look, I discovered another reason to keep the cover. Can you see why?

rod222: you are correct. A similar mistake is currently being used in Jeffersonville, VT where the VT is "VY"

I do think it is a pretty stamp even though it is slightly mis-perforated.

Did you know that MH is the Marshall Islands? And their ZIP Codes don't start with a 0. In fact usps.COM doesn't list a Franklin MH.
