This is a great topic

I have been noticing the same problem with some of my Albums, particularly the ones that in 3 inch binders.

Just this week I moved my Russian collection from 3 3inch binders to 5 1.5 inch binders.

I think Don's idea to rotate the binders is an excellent one and I am going start doing this.

Thanks all

Dianne

I wanted to create an album with both stamps and covers etc so decided to investigate cardstock. Archival cardstock runs about $14. per 50 sheets for 11 x 14. Kinkos will cut it down and drill it for around 5-8 bucks- my local place's quote. I got a nice 12 x 12 Pioneer scrapbooking binder with a topstitched faux leather covering and D rings. 18 bucks. I like the rings as they are thinner than the Scott's which I find bind a bit and I think leads to problems with the paper's holes overtime. They are nice and rigid with ball and sockets. The action is crisp and strong tho they don't have release levers. I can create the pages with Albumeasy and mail the PDF to them to print on my paper. I can also make the pages a bit bigger, I think the cardstock will allow this. BTW I've been keeping my albums flat on a shelf, I also handle them flat as much as possible, I think the stamps get jostled less and stay straight in the mounts better. No sag either.
