I inherited 2 stamp albums "Liberty" and "Citation". They are not complete but they are pretty full maybe 50%. Curious of value of contents. A lot of foreign stamps especially Russia, Germany, Great Britain, Sweden and countries I've never heard of. It was my grandmothers and the album is copyrighted 1966 and 64.

Csaszar,

Welcome to the club. What is in the albums? Please provide scans; especially of the older years.

Jack Kelly,

Thank you, I am having difficulty uploading photos and not sure how to take sheets out to scan. Will work on it. When you say older years what do you mean. There seem to be a lot from 1940, 30, 20, and back I think the oldest is 1880. Not sure how collection started might have been my grandfathers originally who was in the military and traveled extensively.

Harris Liberty albums use a screw post binder system. There should be two metal posts that go through the pages. Open the album cover itself and look at the top of the posts. You should see a flat-head screw grove. If not, turn the album over and repeat from the bottom side.

To remove pages, unscrew the slotted end. The screw does not have very long threads so it comes off easily and is easily misplaced. With the screw off, the album binder will open, freeing the pages. Carefully remove them to expose the page(s) you want to scan.

Reverse the process to replace them and re-secure the album.

uboat,

The newer Harris albums have three screws and the supplements are punch for both two and three holes.

These are attractive albums, and worth adding to, although the financial value of the pages you've shown is minimal - these are stamps of the kind that tend to turn up in most albums of the period.
