I have a copy of Andorra SC12 that looks like this:

My question concerns the two parallel lines on the left-hand side of the stamp.

On the one hand, it does not look like part of any cancellation I have ever seen, yet on the other, it does not look like it is "related" to the ANDORRE overprint, as the overprinted word and the lines are not perpendicular to each other (here, I'm thinking perhaps the lines were the result of ink getting on part of the mechanism that applied the overprint).

Any ideas?

Cordially...

Postmark.
I see 3 or 4 lines, one line going through the "D"

I do too, and I also spot three short lines on the top part of the stamp. The picture is not sharp enough for me to enlarge it without getting fuzzy, but it looks like another two lines are going through the second letter R? The short lines on top seem to correspond with the lines in the middle of the stamp.

Thanks for all the replies.

My old eyes (even aided with a magnifier) didn't catch the lines through the "D".

Interesting take re forgery. I shall compare the overprint here to other similar stamps (different denomination) with similar overprint.
