Hi guys....Hoping some one has one more of this Scott 35 Precancel variety....I am going to approach the ""STANDARD CANADA PRECANCEL CATALOGUE"" to include this Scott 35 style R with 2 broken precancel bars..

The catalogue only recognizes a Scott 36 and a Scott 43 having this variety...Hope some one else can find one for me..See pictures below.

From "THE STANDARD CANADA PRECANCEL CATALOGUE"

My Scott 35 stamp with the same double break in 2 top bars on the right side of my stamp.

Any help appreciated.

Robert.

Wert, great job! At least yours is covered, albeit on a different stamp. I have a whole collection of US precancels with the same break on different plate positions, but have not found any mention of them yet!
I do hope you get some results,

Peter

I checked my collection and did not find this. I'll share with my stamp group and see if they can help.

One of our members noted: "Might I suggest Deveney Stamps of Penticton, BC? They specialize in precancels and revenues, as well as having a good stock of classic Canadian issues."

teawithpuppets..I contacted Deveney Stamps and they checked their stock books and did not find this new variety..They informed me they were going to check all new precancel stamps coming into their organization and would contact ASAP as soon as any new news came about.

If anyone out there comes across one of these Scott 35 precancel varieties, contact me as soon as you can..Thanks

Robert

Then the precancel catalogue will have to recognize it as a new variety and Unitrade will have to add ONE more to their precancel count.

Then put a price tag on it.
