Recently I posted a picture of a 1867 Netherlands stamp type II in reply to a post. Somebody asked me about the types and the differences.
The 1867 issue of the Netherlands exists in 2 types, type I en II. Several catalogues do show a picture of the differences between the 2 types, but mostly very small. In 1947 the Dutch postal Museum issued a set of 6 postcards which shows the differences between the 2 types assisted by arrows on a larger scale.
