I spent almost an hour browsing their listings and then when going through checkout and logging in I get the message my cart is empty. I can push the back arrow and the stuff is still in my cart. Then the minute I log in, it's empty. The purchases are somewhere in their system, the stamps are no longer listed. Never had this issue before.
Their help system is not much help. Noway to message anyone about the problem, I get the feeling the site is very low maintenance.

You have two webmasters' Email at your fingertips, why not ask them?

Are you referring to the webmasters on this site or on Stamps2Go?
Sorry, just not following.
Update I finally found what you are referring to. I did not see that, both links are in small type and at the bottom of the page. I will contact one of them.
PSS, I got an immediate reply from a webmaster. I had been in the habit of putting items in my cart then logged just before checking out, I never ran into any problems doing it this way but he explained this can create a disconnect. Just posting this followup in case anyone else has had this happen. Always log in from the get go before shopping. |

Regarding the issue of Stamps1962 losing his shopping cart at Stamps2Go ...
As he explained above, it is always a good idea to be logged in with your user ID while shopping. If you are not logged in, the only way we can identify you and connect you with your shopping cart is by using data from a "cookie" file that is transmitted by your web browser with each page request. If something goes wrong, and that "cookie" file becomes corrupt, then you'll lose the connection to your cart. When you are shopping while logged in, your user ID is attached to your shopping cart, so we have an added way of maintaining your shopping cart connection. |

Thanks for the reply.
Today I went back, made sure I'd logged in first and confirmed I'd done so. I added two stamps to my cart then when I tried to view the contents it said it was 'empty'. I have no idea what may be going on here. Probably I am still doing something out of order but it is extremely frustrating. Any feedback welcome. |

I always log in and then shop. Have never had any problems.

Well I kept trying and last night it worked fine and I completed a purchase. It perhaps was some glitch, my web connection was poor yesterday. Whatever happened, it is OK now. Fingers crossed... |

It is happening again tonight. I logged in before I began browsing, put a number of items from two sellers in my cart then clicked checkout. I was prompted to log in again, when I did so my cart was empty. I can back up and view the items in my cart but cannot check them out.
I have sent a message to their webmaster. I like this site but it's just too quirky at times. |
