India Festival of India- Yaudheya Coin June 7, 1985 Yaudheya was an ancient confederation who lived in the area between the Indus river and the Ganges river. Yaudheyas perhaps spans from as early as 500 B.C until 1200 A.D. The stamp depicts a copper coin of the Yaudheya ca. 200 B.C. symbolizing Ahimsa "Not to injure any living being".  |
