Hello All,
GeoffHa

Thank you for that very nice compliment.

Tim H
Zimbabwe did issue a set of 6 cave paintings in 1982.
Unfortunately I found that in SG Simplified and of course they show only one image and it is very poor quality.
However a quick Google shows them all.
I can imagine the fun you had with customs, but is hardly smuggling is it?
Presumably they were concerned about the wood?

Glad you enjoyed the post and yes Picasso was influenced by masks:-
Picasso's African Period

Picasso's African Period, which lasted from 1906 to 1909, was the period when Pablo Picasso painted in a style which was strongly influenced by African sculpture, particularly traditional African masks ... Wikipedia

The postcard is one we sent home to the UK.
Centre right is a barber! Just finished a haircut.
Unfortunately the stamp has been removed.

Cheers
Ron
