Good Day to all.
I have a small mix of Hong Kong Stamps. They came with my overprints of Asian Stamps. Most were able to be found with cat numbers, however having some difficulties with the following 5 below.
I would appreciate anyone could inform me the correct Scott numbers on these stamps.

1) Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth 40 cent imperforated, used. Does the (1954-60) (S)HK #190 have the similar imperforated cat #? I could not find the Scott's number for this imperforated stamp. Is this a genuine stamp? Does it come with imperforated measurements?

2) 1938- Scott has (S)HK 167- 5 cent duty tax stamp green, but unknown denomination for a 10 cent duty tax- Is this a scarce stamp? Is there a specific Scott number for the 10 cent duty tax? It has the same markings as the 5 but in higher denomination

(3 &4) 1879 Queen Victoria,5 cent and pair of 10 cent, ultra color). They have same writing as a surcharge stamps, however, my stamps are missing the surcharges on them.Queen Victoria 10 cent the red stamp appears to be the same without surcharges on it. They have the Hong Kong Cancellation markings on them.
All 4 stamps have the exact writings on both sides of each of the stamps as seen in surcharge pictures in Scotts. Are these error stamps since they are missing surcharges? Are these common stamps?

5) Queen Victoria, Two cents- watermarked with a crown.- maybe a Scott Hong Kong #9?

Any information would be helpful. Thank you in advance again.

Yes I have the 5c (Barefoot #83 1908 CV £5)

The 10c is a real query.
It does not appear to be listed in Barefoot, yet that stamp with a 15c opt (receipt)
is listed as thus...

BFT#1 1938? prov surch Stamp Duty issue surcharged 15c on 10c purple CV£3

..........Arghh!

Found it lower down.

Stamp Duty Revenue
1917 Numeral small format BFT#109 10c purple CV 50p (year 2000)

Guess:
Mutilated Stationery fragment. Possibly cut from an Aerogramme?
Thin paper?
Writing on the back of the fragment?

Thank you Rod. Truly you were so helpful. I appreciate your assistance greatly.
You are correct, it is thin paper, but no writing on its back of it. Here is a picture of the back of the imperforated fragment.

Yep, Lioness, blue suggests strongly an Aerogramme.
I am not any authority on HK, (esp stationery) others may respond.

I can give you the Scott numbers of the other issues, subject to check.
Stand by.

All Watermarks have a Crown, you need to isolate which.
Guess: Wmk 2 (Crown CA)

My guesses:
Sc#40 5c ultra 1882
Sc#45 10c blue 1900
Sc#44 10c violet on red 1891
Sc#36b 2c Carmine (check perforation P14)

As I said, subject to check.

the 5 cent green is a revenue stamp that was officially authorized in Jan. 1938 to be sold and used for postal purposes. I was wondering if this was only for the 5 cent and not the full series.
I know it gets a little confusing.
In my specialized book, The Hong Kong Section does not including the revenue stamps, only the postage dues as "J" numbers. I even pulled out my early 70's Scott book. All the volumes of Scott in one book. I suggest no one to carry that around. It's too heavy. Have a great day!

As far as I can see, yes, only for the 5c.

As for Revenues, many collectors, myself included, quote Barefoot Catalogue for Commonwealth issues.

It is shown in SG as SG 1001 (2000). Hong Kong Post released it in a pane of 4.

HK Post press release:

22-karat Gold Stamp - January 1, 2000 (Saturday)

------------------------------------------------

Based on the design of the new $1.30 definitive stamp to be issued on October 18, 1999, this special stamp is produced with 22-karat gold and sold at a face value of $50. The stamps are printed in a pane of four with embossed gold-foiled designs on the selvage. The stamps are sold with a certificate to certify the purity of the gold on the stamp.

- or the well known 'missing everything but the medallion' variety ?
Amoy seems likely - a nice 'curiosity'
