I have been trying to find out the annual cost approximately for Europa stamps and have had no luck.

If anyone collects Europa regularly or has a catalog that gives annual prices, I would greatly appreciate the approximate numbers for the last 5 years.

Thank you
John

You mean face values or catalog values?

If you are after face values, then go to europa-stamps.blogspot.com and check the annual summaries. I'm quite sure that issues of 2016 and some earlier years are still available from issuing entities.

As for catalog values... Multiply the face value by factor of three, and you're in the right ballpark.

Companies such as Nordfrim offer a subscription service - you could contact them for a figure. Europa collections covering various periods also frequently appear at auctions, at least in England.

Purchase price only.

I have sent them an email to see if the information is available.

Thanks for the reply

GeoffHa

I sent Nordfrim an email on another matter and they have yet to reply. I got their auto response acknowledging my email in the 12th.

Hi GeoffHa

Thank you very much

That's what I was looking for even though it is reselling prices and not issue prices. 2015 is 480 Euros. Not a cheap collecting interest to get into as even albums are very expensive. I believe the only 2 albums available are Lighthouse or Davo.

From Canada, I have to add about 40% to that cost

I think that Schaubek, Safe, Lindner and Yvert all do CEPT/Europa pages. None is cheap. Also worth bearing in mind that Europa stamps don't, I think, hold their value very well, insofar as any modern stuff does!
