Hello all,
I found a stamp hiding behind some other stamps in a Collection I recently acquired.
I could figure out that it is a Lombardy Venetia issue, 2 Soldi Stamp.
I also saw in the Scott Catalogue that there are apparantly Imperfs of this stamp.
Yet Scott does not list them nor their values.
I could also not find it anywhere on ebay or google...
Could you help me figure out how much these are worth, and whether this one is even real?

There is a little "notch" on the bottom edge.
Look again carefully, it may be a trimmed stamp.

Yes I noticed the notch. But I do not think that it come from the perforation, for then you would have more notches that are on a straight line, would you not?

Not if one of the perforator pins was slightly bent inward.

Agreed.

That is why I suggested you take the time to look properly, with a loupe, or magnifying glass. I think I see other dents from perforations.
The other tell tale sign is the close cut by scissors to the design.

If you are still not convinced send it in for certification.
