is the black star part of the postmark cancel or is it another ovprt over the red overt from 1906 thanks

Black is the PTT Overprint, the red is the discount.
It occurs in red or Black (on the 1 piastre )
Sometimes seen referred to, as the "Bulls Head Opt" or "Ants head Opt"
