I searched the forum for information on Canada war tax stamps that are not listed in Scott. I found a reference to "van Dam catalogue numbers" and the van Dam website -- so far so good.
Now I am wondering if there are album pages available.
If you couldn't find the stamps in Scotts, probably won't find Amos pages for them. Specialty catalogues list those stamps, and finding pages for them to fit your album might be tough. Custom pages?
I use Steiner pages for my Canada collection. As long as the pages fit an 8.5x11 binder I am good. Just thought I would investigate whether someone has already created custom pages before I charged off and made my own.
First we have to know which one you are talking about, Scott list 7 in the War Taxes, this is what is included in the Lighthouse album, the others one are overprint and are for revenue not for postage and will be included in a Revenue Album such Van Dam one, but this album cost $ 200 and include about 450 revenue stamps.
Thanks for the info. $200 for an album is a bit much for housing one stamp. At least for now I will be keeping it in a stockpage, and if I get more I will make DIY pages.
