Order Arrived Today With A Couple Of Interesting Cancels

Evening all,

Today I received a package in the mail with my recent purchase on ebay, there was 10 25 cent revenues in the lot for $5 total; I was the solo bidder. There were 2 I was very interested in because I could not stop looking a them so with out further ado:


Here is the R48c with a very nice P.M.S.S. Co, which from the document revenuecollector (Dan) has about Steamship Cancels it is a P-1E Pacific Mail Steamship Company.



The other is an R44c with a very complete (in my simple mind) S. & R. S. WIRES from Burlington VT. I can't really find any info on it aside from a newspaper that requires a credit card for a "free trial"...

You did very well. That PMSS cancel is fairly scarce and worth many multiples of what you paid for the lot.

Fantastic! It always feels good to get a nice deal every once in a while.
