I bought a collection that had a bunch of used stamps all organized onto cardboard pages. What attracted me to the collection was the re-entries and flaws that this collector had saved into this bunch of ragged books and pages. But there were some great finds in this old collection.

Most of the precancels seemed fairly common but here are some that were not in my precancel catalog and look kinda crazy.

Can anyone say what these are?

Some of these appear to possibly be just messy cancels, not really pre-cancels?

Jimjung..No. 1, 3, and 7 need some more looking into...

No.1 (Scott 77xx-Style T) (DIE I) may have been tugged slightly during printing.

No.3 (Scott 75xx-Style T) (DIE I) can be a shifted down of the precancel with the top bar being the bottom bar of the above precancel.

N0.7 (Scott 35xx-R)looks as though the precancel was printed vertically and then the sheet was possibly reprinted horizontally...Should only look like the stamp below

Now I am NO expert on these precancels and would love to hear other opinions..

Robert

#7 appears to be a good stamp - S-35-D in the latest Unitrade catalog, CV 150 CND. Not a good impression but worthwhile for sure.

Thanks chasa!

I sent these to BNAPS to see if any are misaligned precancels. Some do look like precancels where the precanceling device was not struck properly
