US $2 Inverted Jenny Stamp Sheet To Remain On Sell

The United States $2 Inverted Jenny souvenir sheet will remain on sale at post offices until sold out. The May 25 announcement of the stamp being removed from sale, as posted in the Postal Bulletin, was in error.

"The $2 inverted Jenny stamps will remain on sale until sold out," said USPS spokesman Mark Saunders. "Stamp Services will make a correction in the Postal Bulletin."

I wonder if that means they will re-appear in the USPS store for on-line sales. There are still a lot of unreported inverted inverts out there.

I'd be curious to know where these are still available. I was told by philatelic services in Kansas City that they had depleted their stock last November.

The "View of Our Planets" and "Soda Fountain Favorites" sheets have also been sold out online for awhile now, but a couple of PO's near me still had them on hand. I thought I saw the Jenny sheets, too, but not positive.
