I'm not sure how to quote Wert, however; I just pulled out another six of Nfld 40 and they all have the same dot, same location. So, probably not a variety unless it is a huge coincidence. |

Robert, the OHMS with doubling of the perfin holes is interesting. That row of the sheet must have overlapped with another and was punched a second time? On that 1162, it is used and probably had the surface removed by tape pulling it off while soaking free from paper. Or rubbed off, as you can see the mottled paper in that area. |

Interesting BlackJag..I have sheets..I will have to check this out. Also look at of my Scott 1181 stamps...I perf. one as 13.3 on the top and another perf. as 13.5 on the top...I am not saying they used 2 different perf. wheels, but looks a little strange. Robert |

Here is another oddity {posted awhile ago} showing a Scott F2 stamp on a cover, BUT, some thing strange about it...Below is the cover... Robert BUT..Look at the top of the F2..The F2 stamp is over top of another possible F2 stamp..Weird. Here is another item not recognized in catalouges.. A "Slip Print" on the Scott 837,,,Top is normal..Bottom is the slip print. |
