The F2 stamp appears to be top margin copy that had the margin folded under when applied to envelope. There maybe other possibilities but I feel this is the most likely. |

The extra circle on the Toronto precancel is typical of a loose nail working its way out and taking ink. It is a transient variety not worthy of more than a footnote, IMO. |

The Scott 106 may not be worth money..But it is probably one of a kind and worth holding on to. Robert |

Nice find steve123 on your N.S.S.C.196d {Unitrade 213b}...Looks like a good ink smear....Keep it. Robert Here is a standard precancel 711xx..Notice the different size precancel bars..Maybe more investigation should determine whether or not different Cities/Towns/Areas used different machines...Mmmmmmm Here is another error example of double perfs on a Scott/Unitrade 50 stamp. |

Some of these red inks have very poor light and or water fastness. They are probably colour changelings. You can only really try to compare shades on mint stamps and even then it is problematical

Here is another oddity once posted, but many more might like to see it, Scott 354 with the letter "Z" missing. Flame should have a "Z" behind it..Just odd. Robert |

Robert, being Canada follows British English, I would say without a doubt that the letter would be an S. The American English would be a Z. Maybe the designer, and or printer Canadian Bank Note Company did not want to any raise any controversy over the spelling and left it out deliberatly as it was for an international organisation.
