This ought to be an easy question to answer but maybe not. I am not looking for the high powered stuff, rarities, etc. I have a Gibbons two volume set of new Imperial albums. I will never fill even 30% but I intend to have fun trying. Most of the USA based dealers in British Commonwealth seem to cater to the high rollers. some of their ads sort of say 'stay away' unless you are looking for classic postal history or rarities.

I, on the other hand am looking for short sets, nice 'seconds' and in general affordable stuff. I used to get this sort of material from Bellmore Philatelics until the owner died.

There is a dealer in CT- 'Toga Enterprises'. Anyone familiar with them?

I subscribe to a UK stamp magazine and note ads from approval dealers offering what would seem to be this sort of thing but many probably won't ship selections over here.

If you collect in this area and have a good source, let me know, thanks.

Private email sent to you. They're a reputable ASDA member dealer that frequently appears at ASDA New York shows.

Thanks. Is that the name of the dealer- 'sense'?

Upon looking more at this I think you were referring to Toga? I do have their email.

I have found the following two dealers on Delcampe to be very helpful:Eximicro and Hoatzinstamps. Eximicro usually has a selection of complete and or short sets while Hoatzinstamps is an excellent source for singles to fill in gaps.

I buy at auction, rather than from dealers. The two I use most are

http://www.warwickandwarwick.com

(monthly stamp auctions)

and

http://www.somersetstampauctions.com

(bi-monthly stamp auctions).

Postage shouldn't be too awful on smaller lots.

Toga Associates has been in business for a number of years (they started sometime in the '80s). Another longtime dealer in British Stamps is Larry Martin owner of Crown Colony Stamps of Bellaire Texas. Both are show dealers, but will do business via the mail. Unfortunately the ASDA dealer search site is not working this morning, but there are other American dealers who sell the material that you looking for. There are plenty with world wide stocks such as Bejjco (Arnold Selengut) who travels to every major shows.
